UP status proof checked 23 September 2026: Use the national Know Your Driving Licence Status form for an issued UP record; it asks for the DL number and DOB. UP Transport separately publishes DL-related navigation, including Download/Print DL. That state directory is the escalation source, not a second database lookup.
UP-specific resolution: if the central status form cannot find the record, verify the UP prefix/RTO/year format and contact the licensing authority shown on the licence. An application number belongs on the application-status page, not in the issued-DL form.

Compare the state/RTO code, year and serial digits with the card. Preserve leading zeroes. Follow the accepted examples displayed by the official form; do not insert an application number.

Can I check UP DL status with a mobile number?
No universal official lookup uses only the mobile number. The issued-status form uses DL number and DOB.
Does “record not found” mean fake?
Not automatically. A formatting/DOB error, old undigitised record or source-system issue can cause it. Verify with the issuing UP RTO.
