UP application proof checked 23 September 2026: A UP licence application is tracked in Sarathi with application number and DOB after selecting Uttar Pradesh. UP Transport's official DL navigation is the state verification/escalation layer and includes the Download/Print DL route used only after approval.

UP-specific stage boundary: application submitted, document scrutiny, test/result, approval, printing and dispatch are transaction stages. The national DL-status form checks an already-issued licence and cannot replace the UP application tracker.

Do Not Confuse These Identifiers

  • Application number: tracks new DL, renewal, duplicate, correction or another transaction.
  • DL number: identifies the issued licence record.
  • Consignment number: tracks the dispatched physical card.

If the application number is missing, check the acknowledgement, fee receipt and official SMS, then use Find Application Number under Others when available.
