Same-State vs Cross-State Address Change
A move within the same state may follow the standard Services on DL route. A move to another state can involve jurisdiction, record migration or additional authority steps. Do not select the new state merely to make the old DL appear; begin with the existing record and follow the official cross-state instruction.
Address Change vs Delivery Redirection
Updating the DL record does not necessarily redirect a card already printed or dispatched. If a pending licence is going to the old address, contact the processing RTO and track the existing shipment. Starting a second address-change application may not stop delivery.
