The Delhi Transport Department routes its licence services through official Sarathi functions. Select Delhi, use Print DL where enabled, or fetch the issued document through DigiLocker.
The letters DL at the start of a Delhi licence are the jurisdiction code; “DL” is also commonly used to mean driving licence. Enter the complete number, not the abbreviation.
Steps
- Follow the Delhi Transport link to Sarathi.
- Select Delhi.
- Choose the print/service route.
- Enter the requested identifier and DOB.
- Save the official output.
If approval, payment, upload or test is pending, use Delhi Application Status before expecting a PDF. Delhi's official service list also exposes DL Extract, payment status, service withdrawal, upload and pending-application completion.
