Open UP Transport DL Services · Open Sarathi State Selection
For an issued Uttar Pradesh licence, select Uttar Pradesh on Sarathi and use the print/service option shown for the record. Use DigiLocker when the goal is an issuer-fetched digital DL.
Download Steps
- Select Uttar Pradesh.
- Open the Driving Licence menu.
- Choose Print Driving Licence or the relevant Services on DL option.
- Enter the application number/DL number and DOB requested.
- Complete verification and save the output.
Do not use the download page to track approval. If the UP application is awaiting scrutiny, test result, printing or dispatch, use UP DL Application Status. If you want to verify an already-issued licence, use UP DL Status.

Missing Application Number
After selecting UP, look for Find Application Number in the Others menu where available. Also check the acknowledgement, fee receipt and official SMS. Do not start a second application to obtain a new number.
Record Not Found
Try the exact printed UP number and the format guidance shown on the official form. Confirm DOB and issuing RTO. Older non-digitised records require the issuing authority; DigiLocker cannot invent a record absent from the source system.
Can I download an old UP DL?
Only if the source record is digitised/retrievable. Ask the issuing RTO about backlog entry when it is not.
