Keep these entities separate: DL number + DOB checks the issued HR record; application number + DOB tracks a transaction.
Haryana-specific resolution: use the Haryana licensing-authority route when an older HR record is missing or the state directory shows a different service path. Do not claim SARAL Haryana can retrieve every issued DL unless the service is currently listed there.

Use the official DL-status form with the Haryana DL number and DOB.
An issued-DL status is not the same as a Haryana/Sarathi service application. If a renewal, duplicate or address-change request is pending, use the application number in Sarathi after selecting Haryana.
Review status, issuing authority, vehicle classes and validity dates together. A licence can be found but not authorise the vehicle being driven; the COV endorsement matters.
If no HR record appears, check number format and DOB, then contact the issuing licensing authority for an old or mismatched record. Do not send a photo of both sides of the DL to a third-party status site.
Is a valid-to date enough to prove the DL is active?
