This TN page should use the state directory for Tamil/English service guidance and the official Sarathi state flow for print/download availability.
Tamil Nadu-specific fallback: follow the TN department's named service first. If a printable DL is unavailable, use DigiLocker or mParivahan for the issued digital record and the TN RTO directory for record correction.

Use Sarathi after selecting Tamil Nadu for the state-enabled print route, or fetch the issued record from DigiLocker. The Tamil Nadu State Transport Authority publishes licence-service guidance in Tamil, including learner, permanent, duplicate, renewal, addition of class and address change.
Steps
- Select Tamil Nadu.
- Open Driving Licence.
- Choose Print Driving Licence if available.
- Enter the requested application/DL number and DOB.
- Complete official verification and save the output.
If no print option appears, use DigiLocker. For a pending service, check Application Status; payment or test completion alone does not mean the final DL has been issued.

Use tnsta.gov.in for state guidance and sarathi.parivahan.gov.in for the common transaction platform. Avoid lookalike “RTO Tamil Nadu” domains that ask for card payment merely to show public instructions.
Can I download in Tamil?
The portal/interface may offer regional-language help, but the official document format and fields are controlled by the issuing system. Do not create a translated DL yourself.
