Bihar proof checked 23 September 2026: Bihar's official RTPS/ServicePlus portal lists Online Driving License Extract Issuance. That output is a state e-service and should not be described as identical to a DigiLocker-issued DL or a Sarathi printable card. Use Sarathi/DigiLocker for the required output; use Bihar RTPS when the user specifically needs the state-issued extract service.
Bihar-specific route: select Bihar on Sarathi for Print DL/Services on DL. If the need is an official licence extract, route the user to Bihar RTPS and label the expected output as an extract.

Use Sarathi after selecting Bihar for state-enabled print services, or fetch the issued DL through DigiLocker. If the application is still pending, no final document may be available yet.
Steps
- Select Bihar on Sarathi.
- Look under Driving Licence for Print Driving Licence or the relevant service.
- Enter the requested application/DL identifier and DOB.
- Complete verification on the government page.
- Save the official result.

Bihar Record Not Found
Confirm the BR/RTO prefix, year and serial digits. Use the DOB held by the transport record. If an older licence has not migrated, contact the Bihar issuing RTO for digitisation or correction. A new application is not a safe workaround for a missing old record.
Can I download with an application number?
The print screen may request it; use the exact field label. An application number tracks the transaction, while the DL number identifies the issued licence.
